Actor/Actress: Just like a muggle actor or actress.
Arithmancer: An Arithmancer is a wizard or witch who specialists in the field of Arithmancy, a branch of magic that involves using complicated number charts to make predictions.
Alchemist: Alchemy is an ancient magical that combines many different aspects of other magical and crafts, including astronomy, astrology, the physics of nature, metals, planets and their corresponding precious and semi-precious stones, amongst other Muggle branches of 'mysticism'.
Astronomer: An Astronomer studies the night skies, charting the alignment of the planets, moons, stars, suns and the movement of the celestial beings. They are important people in the magical world, as astronomical charts are relied upon to help with correspondence in basically every other magical field.
Auror: An Auror is a member of an elite unit of highly-trained, specialist officers within the Department of Magical Law Enforcement of the Ministry of Magic trained to investigate crimes related to the Dark Arts, and apprehend or detain Dark wizards and witches.
Author: Just like a muggle author, one could write stories, poem books or informational ones.
Bar Maid/Tender: Someone who works in pubs or other places that has a bar.
Broom Maker: A broom-maker is a person that creates broomsticks.
Caretaker: Caretaker is the title and occupation held at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry by a witch, wizard, or Squib in charge of overseeing the cleanliness and hygiene of Hogwarts Castle. Though there is bound to be other caretakers at other buildings.
Cashier: Just like a muggle cashier, works in shops.
Curse Breaker: A Curse-Breaker is a profession at the wizard's bank Gringotts, in which a wizard or witch disables or counters curses in ancient tombs or other historical sites, in order to bring back gold to Gringotts. It is speculated that Curse-Breakers are almost the equivalent of Muggle archaeologists.
Director: Just like a muggle director.
Dragon Feeder: A Dragon Feeder has the task of feeding Dragons, not the most safest of jobs.
Dragon Keeper: Their task is to care and look after Dragons, making sure they are kept in a location where they can not cause harm to others. Not the most safest of jobs.
Editor: Just like a muggle Editor.
Executioner: An executioner is charged with the execution of magical creatures deemed to be a threat to others by the Ministry of Magic's Committee for the Disposal of Dangerous Creatures.
Guard: Just like a muggle guard.
Head of MoM Department: This person is the head to any/one of the departments at The Ministry of Magic. This is the person that everyone in that department sees as their boss. The heads boss is that of the Minister himself/herself.
Healer: A Healer is the wizarding world equivalent of a Muggle doctor. They tend to the sick and injured at St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries.
Healer In Training: Someone in training to become a fully qualified Healer. This person is like a muggle nurse.
Herbologist: A herbologist is a wizard or witch who is a specialist in the field of herbology.
Historian, Magical : Not everyone is so thrilled when the subject other History of Magic comes up, but others find it interesting. If it weren't for these Witches and Wizards, the magical world would have no record of their history.
Hit Wizard: A Hit Wizard or Hit Witch is a highly trained member of the Magical Law Enforcement Squad, tasked with arresting dangerous criminals.
Hogwarts Express Tea Trolley: You know the one, the trolley comes around mid journey and a voice can be heard, "Anything off the trolley dears?"
Hogwarts Express Driver: There is sure to be many drivers out there in the wizarding world and this is one of the many jobs.
Headmaster/Headmistress/Highmaster: A Headmaster or Headmistress (or Highmaster, in Durmstrang Institute) is the chief administrator of a School of Magic . They make all major decisions regarding the safety and the day-to-day functioning of the school, and have the power to override any decision made by any other authoritative facilitator at the school, with the possible exception of the Board of Governors (and during a brief period in 1996, the "High Inquisitor"), in Hogwarts.
Gamekeeper: The Keeper of Keys and Grounds (also known as the gamekeeper or groundskeeper) is a wizard employed by Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to tend to and look after the grounds of the school, as well as the security of Hogwarts Castle. Though there is bound to be Gamekeepers for other grounds in the magical world.
Gringotts Worker: Usually a desk job for witches and wizards.
Journalist: Just like a muggle journalist.
Knight Bus Conductor: This person will be the one you pay upon getting into the Knight bus, he will ask you were you wish to go and make sure to take care of any needs you have.
Knight Bus Driver: There is sure to be many drivers out there in the wizarding world and this is one of the many jobs.
Magical Law Enforcement Squad: The Magical Law Enforcement Patrol (formerly known as the Magical Law Enforcement Squad), was a subdivision of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement in the Ministry of Magic, comprised of a team of wizards and witches tasked with general law enforcement.
Magizoologist: A Magizoologist is a person who studies magical creatures (a field known as magizoology), they may possibly also be referred to as wizarding naturalists.
Mediwizard/Mediwitch: A mediwizard or wtich is the wizarding equivalent to a medic. Mediwizards/Witches work at St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries. Mediwizards/Witches are also field doctors and they tend to injuries at events such as Quidditch Games, Magical Tournaments and other Wizarding Events.
Metal Charmer: A Metal charmer is a profession in the wizarding world. Seemingly uncommon, Metal-Charmers are responsible for imbuing metalcraft with certain magical properties via Charms. Since magical spells usually disengage once the caster dies, Metal-Charmers work their metal in such a way where the Magic infused in them remains even after post-mortem. Naturally, magical objects like Golden Snitches and Sneakoscopes are made by them.
Minister for Magic: The Minister for Magic is the leader of the wizarding world in the United Kingdom and the highest ranking member of the Ministry of Magic, which they control. The position somewhat corresponds to the Prime Minister of British Muggles.
Ministry of Magic Employee: There are many jobs within in the Ministry of Magic. From the welcome witch at the front desk, to the cashiers and cooks on the upper floors to the healers around the building.
Muggle Relations:
Musician: Just like a muggle musician. A musician is an individual who makes music as a profession, especially by performing music. The Wizarding Wireless Network (usually abbreviated to WWN), is a popular wizarding radio station that musicians perform on.
Newspaper Reporter/Columnist: Just like a muggle reporter or columnist.
Obliviator: An Obliviator is an employee of the Ministry of Magic tasked with keeping the Wizarding world hidden from Muggles. Obliviators perform Memory Charms on any Muggle witnesses who happen to see something they should not, such as seeing a magical creature.
Photographer: Just like a muggle photographer though a wizarding one would use a different type of camera that enables images to move.
Potioneer: A potioneer, also known as a Potion-Brewer or Potion-Maker, is a witch or wizard who makes potions for a living. This could include working as a professional brewer, studying or inventing potions, or teaching potions as a subject at a wizarding school.
Professor: The title Professor is used by teachers at Schools of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It is considered rude by some to not address a member of staff as professor, Madam or Sir.
Quidditch Player: A Quidditch player will play one of the following positions: Chaser, Keeper, Seeker or Beater.
Quiddich Referee: A Quidditch referee (also known as a Quijudge during the early days of the game) is the individual responsible for adjudicating a Quidditch match.
Shop Keeper: Just like a shop keeper in the muggle world, also known as a shop owner/manager.
Spell Inventor: A witch or wizard who makes a living out of inventing new spells.
Spell Registrator: Someone who registrars and keeps track of all the spells.
Training Security Trolls: Apart from wizard and witch guards, there is a option to have Troll Guards. In this job it will be up to you to train the trolls into guarding.
Unspeakable: An Unspeakable is a wizard or witch who works in the Ministry of Magic's Department of Mysteries. Little is known about their workplace, and even less is known about their jobs. Employees of the Department of Mysteries are forbidden from discussing their jobs or disclosing any information about their department, hence the name "Unspeakable."
Wandmaker: Someone who makes/creates wands for witches and wizards.
Wandmaker Assistant: A assistant to a wandmaker (see above) most likely in training to be fully qualified to do the job themselves one day.
