Credits are given out to the members character/s for being active, writing great posts and many other ways. These can be collected and used to get additional things for your character/s.
Ways you can earn Credits.
Credit Day, quota each week is 5 Credits (one post per character) A additional 1 Credit for every extra post.
Replying to a Character Relations page, 1 Credit.
Becoming one of the Top Posters of the Week (credits vary on posts).
Getting Excellence of the Week 20 Credits.
Getting Member of the Month, 30 Credits.
Member Referral, 5 Credits for sending someone our way to join the site.
Member Anniversary, 50 Credits for one year. 100 Credits for two years and so on.
Ways you can spend Credits.
Deluxe Character Profile, 40 Credits.
Deluxe Character Profile Update, 10 Credits.
Residence, 100 Credits.
Residence Update, 10 Credits.
Shop, 100 Credits.
Shop Update, 10 Credits.
Additional Character, 50 Credits for a Canon Character 75 Credits for any Original Character.
Title/Name/Member Group Change, 10 Credits.

What Are Credits? Credits are given out by the staff of Scholam Magicam for numerous of reasons. To say thanks, to keep the site active and letting you get extra things.
When Is Credit Day? Credit Day is every Sunday. (You earn credits from Sunday through to Saturday, Credits counted and given out each Sunday).
What Counts Towards Quota? In Character and Owl Posts count towards quota. If you are sending out a invite or flyer to varies characters/members in the Owl Board this will only count towards one.
Do Character Relations Count Towards Quota? No. Though you can get a credit for every reply you do, no posts in the 'Ministry Records' count towards Quota.
More Info on Member Referral You will get 5 Credits for every new member that puts your name down for how they found this place. This will only count towards their first character and not any additional ones. Please make sure this is a name we will recognize, your muggle board name or a name of your character/s.
What is a Deluxe Character Profile? Also known as a DCP, this is a place for your characters profile and a place you can start new threads such as, Character Relations, History of Threads, Diary/Journal, plus anything else you wish. Take a look at others DCPs for ideas.
What is included in the Deluxe Character Profile Update? This update is for the information in the description of your DCP if your character has a new surname, ranks, titles etc. Also for any new/changes to the headers and footers of your board. You can personalize this area with banners, music player, or any other html coding to your DCP.
What is included in the Title/Name/Member Group Change? Surname changes and change of career/rank/titles are included in this.
